A close sister to the "I Actually Don't Feel Like Cooking" Mac Bowl, please welcome our pesto power bowl (because sometimes you need permission to cook a meal that doesn't feel like a "recipe")!
She's basic. She's simple. She's exactly what we need when we don't feel like cooking, want something filling + healthy, and have mouths to feed!
⭐️ BONUS: This is a great meal to plan during a week where you're making the pesto salmon, since you're already have the pesto!
Ingredients
- Pasta of choice
- Chicken sausage
- Pesto
- Frozen peas

Feeding Kids
If you're kiddos don't like things touching, separate it out otherwise serve it in a bowl just like yours! Charlotte loves this.
Notes
- You can eat this hot or add room temp.
- I added some arugula into mine for some extra greens, totally optional.
- The pesto is typically in the cold section.
Substitutions
- Vegan or vegetarian? Get a vegan pesto and sub the chicken sausage for chickpeas or tempeh.
- Hate chicken sausage? Try rotisserie chicken, steak, or any protein of choice!
