This policy explains how The Kitchen Table (TKT) handles your information.
1. What we collect
When you join TKT, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, password
- Payment information: handled by Stripe; we do not store credit card details
- Member-submitted content: comments, voice memos, questions, photos, and anything else you post in the community
- Usage data: which pages you visit and how you interact with content, collected via standard analytics tools
2. How we use your information
- To provide the membership service (deliver content, process payments, manage your account)
- To communicate with you (welcome emails, weekly updates, billing notices)
- To moderate the community
- To improve the service
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Public content
Anything you post in the community is visible to other members. This includes comments, voice memos played on the podcast, questions answered publicly, and photos. Once posted, content may be seen, shared, screenshotted, or distributed by other members in ways outside our control.
If you post sensitive personal information, you do so at your own risk. We strongly recommend not sharing details you would not want known publicly, including specific medical conditions, identifying information about family members, or anything you'd be uncomfortable seeing repeated.
You may request content you posted be removed by emailing [EDIT — confirm email] jointhekitchentable@gmail.com. We will remove it from the site within a reasonable timeframe. We cannot retrieve content that has already been shared, screenshotted, or distributed outside the platform.
4. Third-party services
TKT uses third-party services to operate the membership. These include providers for:
- Website and member account hosting
- Payment processing
- Video hosting
- Form submissions and voice memo collection
- Email delivery
- Site analytics
Each of these providers has their own privacy practices and handles the data necessary to provide their service. We do not control how these services handle your data outside of their service to us. By using TKT, you acknowledge that your information may be processed by these third parties.

5. Cookies
TKT uses cookies to keep you logged in and to track basic site analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the site may not work properly.
6. Data retention

7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (US, EU, California, etc.), you may have legal rights to:
- Access the data we have about you
